Perl to PHP...

Do you have a Perl script or web software written in Perl? Is it just so old that you can't get it to work? Or is it that you need it to be modernized in the 21st Century? We can convert your Perl scripts to PHP! PHP, a very popular and open source scripting language for web servers, is much better in terms of performance and error handling. Perl is still very popular and has advantages but it can really be annoying when you have a Perl script you're trying to run and it gives you "500 Internal Server Error" as soon as you upload it. We can convert it to PHP, which means if the script has an error, PHP will tell you where it is.

So why fiddle with Perl software you're still trying to run? Send it to us and have it converted into PHP.



Our terms of service for customers:
  1. Any code, software, and/or data sent to Data Components Software Development will be specifically for Perl-to-PHP translation only and will be kept confidential from anyone and everyone not including the client/customer.
  2. Programming translation is charged at $10 per programming hour. A time sheet will be provided with the completion of software translation to ensure and confirm hours and payment.
  3. Data, code, and software will not have modified purposes and/or functions other than regular translation from Perl to PHP. No holes, hacks, and/or code will be added, removed, or modified in such a way to create back doors and/or security flaws other than what is already in the pre-translated code.
  4. Software will not be modified under request of the client/customer. The service provided is strictly software translation, nothing more or less.
  5. We only accept software written in Perl to be translated into PHP, not vice versa. Any other programming/scripting languages cannot and will not be the base of translation or the result of translation.

The typical method for having software translated is in this order:
  1. You send us your Perl software
  2. We translate it
  3. Upon completion, we send you a time sheet and translation bill
  4. Upon payment, we send you your translated software
